What does M.C. stand for, I'm thinking a medical leave of sorts. If you expect to be paid for M.C. or really need it, you should call and reschedule your interview.

Or, go to the interview, if you get the job great, if not, you are taking your chances. Some times a potential new job is worth the chance, that is your choice.
Reply:can you rewrite that so it makes sense?

if you are not coughing , go to the interview
Reply:Listen to your doctor, don't jeopardize your insurance coverage and reschedule your interviews. Good luck!
Reply:Wow...I would love to try to help you, but the way you wrote that, I have NO idea what you're talking about. English with no abbreviations might be nice next time.

Reply:I would reschedule the interview. Let the prospective employer know that you're currently under doctor's orders for two days rest. They should understand and be willing to reschedule on these circumstances.

Additionally, be firm with your employer regarding your medical leave. Let him know that it is under doctor's instructions - there are laws requiring that employers allow you to have medical leaves.

If you still attend the interview, it is unfair to your current employer, and if your employer were to find out, it could be cause for termination, because to your employer it will appear that you took the time off for the interview but were trying to use the medical excuse to get out of work.

So the best course of action is to follow the doctor's orders to the letter - and get that rest so you can get back to good health!
Reply:No matter the situation, going out while you are sick is never a good idea. Would you rather delay the interview, or annoy the interviewer by being sick? I find it quite rude when people are sick and are a bit too selfish to just stay home for a couple days. It's too easy to spread germs these days. Just call the companies and reschedule the interviews, letting them know you are sick. They should respect that.
