NY JURY DUTY, but going out of state for interviews??

I've been summoned to be a standby juror on Friday, but I'm leaving on Tuesday to interview for jobs out of state. I've already had one postponement b/c I forgot to call in the first time. When i finally remembered the guy said it was no big deal and rescheduled me for a different time.





Can I be excused a 2nd time if I go in on Monday and show them my plane ticket, new lease, deposit checks (already cashed) and resignation letter from my previous employer?????

I once got my boss rescheduled by sending in a copy of her plane ticket but since this is your second reschedule.... I don't know. Call and find out.
Reply:File for an exemption of jury duty and then attach a copy of the letter for the interview and a copy of the airline tickets and bring that to the court in a hurry......
Reply:Go Monday and if you are called for a case, tell them your situation and if that doesn't work, tell them that you hate lawyers, the court system and make a big stink - you will be excused, believe me.
