Damn job interviews?

Dont you hate going to alot of job interviews and in the end they say they will get back with u in 2 wks? (some dont even get back with u at all) is that a pretty much a given that u didnt get the job?





I'm a graphic designer and i get good responses to come in for a interview, but im not snagging the JOB. Maybe its my personality or the competition is just so much they have a hard time choosing a person? (oh and trust me, i have looked online for interview tips an such, but its still the same =[) It just sucks, b/c i just graduated college and finished up my internship. Now im unemployed an had to move back with my parents (dial up is a sucks) an if i get some crappy job in the meantime, then its going to be hard to make time for more interviews. im going nuts!!

Sometimes it really is the person who give the best interview who wins the job. If an interviewee can't tell them how it is they are qualified for the job, they will probably hire someone who can.





I find that if I save a copy of the job description, learn it, and can offer a couple of examples of how I've gained or used each job skill they put in the job description, it really helps in an interview.





It also helps to learn about the company from looking and reading through the website, so that when the interviewer is telling you about it, you can offer your observations or ask and intelligent question or two.





I also found a list of common interview questions in which most of them will be asked. Thinking about how to each question in terms of the job I'm applying for also helps

There are specific things that they expect in an interview, and it tells you what kind of information they are looking for in some of the questions.

Reply:You're right it sucks to be us. I'm on the same boat I go to many interviews and never get selected. And I'm trying to get jobs that are not college related, like driver, laborer you know dirty jobs.
Reply:It may well be the resume, the picture painted and the person may not match.
