Do you think that Fractal imaging is the thumb print of God?

I tend to equate it to be Gods biography more so then the bible.

COLORS OF INFINITY

The Mandelbrot set—someone has called it the thumbprint of God—is one of the most beautiful and remarkable discoveries in the entire history of mathematics. With Arthur C. Clarke as narrator and interviews with a number of notable mathematicians, including Benoît Mandelbrot, this program graphically illustrates how simple formulas can lead to complicated results: it explains the set, what it means, its internal consistency, and the revolutions in thought resulting from its discovery. Asked if the real universe goes on forever, Stephen Hawking defines its limit of smallness; the Mandelbrot set, on the other hand, may go on forever.

It may be the closest thing we have to a "thumbprint" of God, and some theologians are engaging complexity theory as a means of trying to understand how God and the universe work. Yet, while the Mandelbrot set can be thought of as a "signature" of God, there may be other things even more wondrous yet to be explored, if we keep looking!

I share your interest of and delight in this fascinating topic.
Reply:It really is very fascinating and shows how complex structures can be constructed from very simple patterns. Is it God's fingerprint? Well it seems to draw us nearer to understanding how all things are constructed and could be.
Reply:It is just a mathematical pattern. If anything, it is the fingerprint of evolution. That's because it is a complex shape that can be described with simple formulas. If you look at nature, you see similar patterns that have evolved and have been encoded in DNA. The human blood vessel system, for example, it fractal in nature. There is self symmetry all the way down to capillaries.
Reply:God is a spirit.

He doesn't leave thumbprints, but the evidence of His existance is all around us.
