I have a job interview at a hospital tomorrow for a health care position. I am attending a basketball WNBA basket ball game, dinner ,and career fair with other students from the university I attend and will not be able to change clothes. What can i wear that might be appropiate for all places and comfortable, and cheap. I haven't "dressed up" in a while b/c Ive gained weight since kids. I am 5'7" 210 lbs and kind of busty. Any suggestions?
What should I wear to an interview?
I would say formal-casual pants (anything not jeans or sweats or whatnot), best to be either black, grey, cream, or white, and a simple yet somewhat-decorated/formal sleeveless shirt, or half-sleeve shirt, or full length shirt in whatever colours you want, not loose but not really tight either, slightly form-fitting I'd say. Basically, look formal but with a touch of comfort and a casual. You can add a little more formality with a simple necklace as well, and earrings.
Reply:You should wear a slimming pair of black trousers and a long line t-shirt, which shouldn't be too low cut. I would add a few accessories that will reflect your personality. Good luck and remember to smile and look your interviewee in the eye.
Reply:Sweat pants and gym shirt.
Reply:If you have a nice pants suit (preferable a dark solid color- blue, black, brown) and just don't wear the jacket until the interview. Just make sure the pants have a button closure in the front if you wear your shirt tucked in. Or if you get a suit with an elastic waist, just get a shirt that looks good tucked out and when you go on your interview tuck it in. Check out Marshall's and/or TJ MaxX (if you have one around you). If you want to wear sandals during your activities you can do that, but wear pumps to the interview. (bring a big bag - purse, pocketbook -so you put your shoes in them and your extra resumes and stuff.)
Reply:maybe a business suit
Reply:I would suggest a fitted suit-jacket in black, a cream-colored, light and ruffly blouse, and some dark denim blue jeans without holes or fade marks. You will look modern and proffesional because it's a clean look and the blazer (suit-jacket) dresses it up. But for the game and dinner, you can take off the blazer and just the sleek jeans with a light, pretty short-sleeve frilly blouse can look casual but still feminine and young. Oh! And I would suggest black heels to finish the look. However, none of this is costly. You could probably find such pieces at somewher in your local mall, I would suggest trying Charlotte Russe for such a look. Hope that helped, and good luck with the interview!
Reply:ok ready? you get some black jeans that have elastic.straight jeans. a pink cami that hides your cleaveage. and a teal blaZer. something else is you can put on a black pleated skirt and a long sleeved short shirt with cuffs. try and divert attention from your bosom by earings scarfs belts shoes hats! Also you could try some pinstriped pants with a blazer just like it.
Reply:A nice blouse and dress pants/skirt should be fine.
Reply:You need to wear dress pants/ or a skirt (preferably black) and a nice blouse and nice shoes too.
.
Reply:Dress pants n a nice dress shirt
Reply:a nice little pants suit
Reply:go to this site to find out
Reply:Wear poly blend pants that won't wrinkle and a nice blouse. Change it into interview mode with a blazer. Good Luck!!
Reply:I would suggest clothes, however depending on the establishment and what services they render go from there. Since it sounds like a regular hospital, wear something professional. You do not want to show off your cleavage so buy something appropriate. Check out thrift shops as a lot of these might have an outfit at a good price that will do the trick for you. Good luck on your interview.
Reply:I would wear a skirt and t-shirt (nice fitted one) for the ball game. You could wear flip flops or casual shoes for the game and then change into flats or heels in your car before the interview. Additionally, you could then throw on a suit jacket or sweater over the t-shirt for the interview. If you don't have a lot of money you might be able to find at least part of the outfit at a goodwill or salvation army. I wouldn't wear jeans, anything too hoochy-mama, or anything with a saying or logo on the front. Don't worry too much about looking spectacular for the interview; I would be more concerned about looking neatly groomed and serious.
Reply:Well, aside from the game, whatever you would normally wear to the other functions would probably be OK. Maybe forgo the game.
But somehow, I suspect this is a bogus question. No normal person would schedule THAT many activities, with uncertain timelines, in one day.I guess you are counting on most folk not knowing if the wnba is still active. (who cares, anyway)
