I still don't know what position they have in mind for me to fill. B/c each person tells me something different! What do you suggest or think it means, I am at a loss! I am supposed to meet another person later this week!!!
I need Interview Help! I have been to the same company 4 times and every time is w/a different person?
Actually, this might be an encouraging sign. Your first interview was probably with a Human Resources person, who generally just asks basic questions about you. The next interview might be someone from the department that is interested in hiring you. That person may have recognized some skills that you had that were more suitable for a different department, and so on. Believe me, employers are way too busy to have you interview four times without being interested in you.
Good luck on your next pass!

Reply:it seems as thou you seriously are getting the run around with this company, you are trying too get a interview at most places now days only employ one person that does the hiring firing called a personal manager etc, most companirs have only one person that does this not 4, they would show the others the door too save money, i dont know weere you are trying too get a job at, but my odds are there is only one person there who makes the hiring desisions not 4 its unheard of these days on the payroll most companies, are cutting costs, triming people, and only that one person who or what he or she does try looking on there office doors to see whos who, etc.
Reply:Dont bother trying to work at this place. Their employee's obviously cannot get it together. But if you must.... ask for a written "position description" at the beginning of your next meeting. Ask specific questions about the position you are being hired for and their expectations of you as an employee. Im not sure what type of job this is, but you will likely need to sign off that you recieved a position description at the time of hire. Make sure you get this! When I was just out of college I had a similar experience with an employer- they told me they had this or that in mind for me, I hired in and found out not much later that I wasn't hired for the job I thought. I had signed a contract so I was up a creek for 6 months.
Reply:each person (depending on the size of the company) but if its a moderatly sized co. those ppl are prolly shift boss', area boss, executive, and so on, different dept' that need to interview ya b/c ya may work under 1 but down the 'grape vine' work under 4 or 5. look at it this way at least, they like you enought so far to bring you back again :D thats better than most that dont even get a chance, and personally, i dont think they all would take the time to give you so many interviews jus for them to say 'buh bye'. there putting effort into this, i can imagine that you will get somethn out of it (employment) :) good luck!
Reply:Hmmm...are you that forgetable??? Hahaha
Don't take me personally, please. It could be they see something in you that they like and they are just comparing opinions.
Reply:It means you are getting really close to having a job. congrats. Just make sure to ask a lot of questions. Its okay to come out and inquire about what they have in mind for you. also ask how many people are applying for the job.
Reply:Whenever I've went on interviews they always ask do you have any questions. When they ask you this outline for them what you have experienced so far, and ask them to explain exactly what thier hiring process consist of. For example, you can say, "I applied for your receptionist positon, and so far I have spoken with several different representitives from your company. I would like to know what the hiring process is here as well as who makes the the final decision. Then ask to speak with that person.
