McC. Given that the media are quoting "Massive support" for the Mc C's, where are the crowds?

I know how the media works well enough to know that a crowd of ten can be made to look like 100, but, where are these hundreds of thousands of people who are supporting them ?, there were none at the airport, they could hardly find one in the airport, apart from that aerobics woman who was desperate to get in front of the camera, the only supporters they found were family and a close friend.


The SKY people had a crew cruising around in Rothley for 2 days with out an interview, and the only non family member I saw on TV wearing a wristband was a PJ copper, opening a door for the mother superior.....

McC. Given that the media are quoting "Massive support" for the Mc C's, where are the crowds?
I agree - the only people supporting them are the type not to know which day of the week it is................

I've been on their website and seen postings by people, but I bet that was in the beginning before they knew the children had been left alone.

its all been hyped up. ive never understood from the start how this couple immediately got support from the press without them ever mentioning the fact that they ABANDONED their kids to the dangers of possible perpetrators etc.


i for one dont support them, they are too cocky for my liking

Maybe people are being influenced by the media and if they think everyone else supports them, they're not going to be the one to say they don't. I'm sure a lot of people believe them to be guilty without feeling like they can say so. The only difference with this board is the anonymity - people can say what they really think.

Reply:i suppose like most people i cant see through walls so dont know what actually happened Maddy. yes the parents were negligent for leaving the children but just for one minute think if they didnt harm her what they must be going through. It would be your worst nightmare. I dont know if they did it or not so cant judge about that.
