Interview Question. What is the best way to answer?
i would A) ask supervisor for the information....it happens all the time at my work....B and C would be good too but i mostly ask my supervisor
Reply:Personally connect them with someone. That would make them feel helped. If they can go to your place of business again, more than likely they will ask for you.

You can answer that.
Reply:Well...it all depends on the type of answer required, but D is never acceptable.

If it really requires some specialized knowledge, then I would go with C.

If it required an immediate answer, then I would go with A.

If the time was available to find the info yourself %26amp; get back to the customer - then B would be ok.

In all cases, it's important that the customer get the required info in a timely manner. If there is going to be an unexpected delay, then contact the customer to let them know you are still working on it.
Reply:A. That's what a supervisor is for...
Reply:Hi,

Employers love people with initiative, who can think for themselves, step outside the square and take ownership of problems.

Firstly, go looking for the information yourself, and if you do that without finding the answer, by all means seek the advice of a supervisor or someone else who might know.

Remember, as Henry Ford said, you don' need to know all the answers, you just need to know the people who have the answers.

Warmly,

Slav
