I need to interview a cardiologist for a research project. Is anyone interested?
the question you ask could be put to any medical doctor.

aside from one or two of them they could be asked of any person .

if your going to take up the time of a heart surgeon then at least have some interest in the heart and past and present medical discoveries and procedures related to the heart.

find out about blue babies . ask if he has ever used the mustard procedure.

heart transplants and rejection

medication for heart conditions

what role he sees genetic discoveries will play in heart treatment .

heart repair prior to birth

common causes of heart conditions and what ones he sees as the most preventable and the least preventable

artificial hearts find out the names of the different ones to date and ask what if any he has used.

ask him if he thinks the person is dead when he removes the heart until the person is on by pass this sort of thing the spiritual side of transplants.

his youngest patient his oldest.

a case he is most proud of of

i wont ask him about his most sad case.

i think this is a good sample of what you should be asking of a specialist in cardiology
