Do you have tomorrow off? I have a job interview?

tomorrow, and I'm worried that it may be a "sweatshop position" since all the people I need to talk to will be there on President's Day. What can I ask to find out if they're stressed out, without sounding like I'm opposed to hard work?

Also, if the job sounds like a good fit, how can I downplay my lack of knowledge in 3 key technologies: SIP, VOIP, C#, and emphasize my ability and willingness to learn?

Do you have tomorrow off? I have a job interview?
Our union contract has it as a day off so nobody goes in unless they are salaried and want to. Not all companies have it off since it is a minor holiday. I had one job where we got the Jewish holidays and the day after Thanksgiving instead of Presidents day.
Reply:That's just funny. You think it's a "sweatshop" position just because people still work on a miniscule holiday. I'd avoid asking if they're stressed in any form. What does it matter? People work even on holidays like New Years, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

For the record, I have the day off, my husband has to work. I would prefer to work but the office is closed.
Reply:I don't think your every day person would be too distraught over working on presidents day. I've had jobs that don't give any holidays off except Christmas, and I've known people who had to work Christmas. But presidents day is a very small minuscule holiday. I've held a lot of jobs, and have never gotten presidents day off. I'm also a college student and don't get the day off school. I wouldn't mention it to anybody during your interview...
