Help! I have an interview lined up for an Investment Bank in London?

I told my agent i have A-Levels but i dont. Agent said they need to check out educational references and i told her i would try and dig them out. My GCSE's are all C grade and above but i never sat A-Levels atall. What do i do? Obviously never lie again on my C.V. but how do i get out of this situation???

Tell them you have accepted another job offer and run like hell. oh, and change job agency pronto!
Reply:If the Job demands A-levels and you have lied then you need to come clean about it and mighty quick, better to do that now rather than be caught out later.

You may need a new agent to go along with the correct CV
Reply:Fudge the references
Reply:I am sure that after 7 years your education results are wiped and cannot be checked but don't quote me on this.

You could try to say that you must have misplaced the certificates.

If they find the truth you could play total horror at not having your rightful qualifications on the system or decline the job and say that if you can't prove it take it as you haven't got them and just walk away.

Change agencies and tell the truth next time!!!! Best of luck
Reply:I just wanted to let you know that in Europe, because the level of education is so high, they are REALLY strict with checking out references.

Everything is just about linked over there; a piece of information follows a long chain and finally comes back to its origin.

Let the people know you have found another job and then, don't do it again, at least not in Europe.

Good luck.
