What should I wear for an interview in HSBC bank??

I have got to get something after work today as my interview is on Thursday.

I have no idea what to wear or to get. Ive spent the last week looking but found nothing!! I'm more of a jeans and Tshirt kind of person than a smart person so i have nothing!!!

I have got three problems though

a) small budget

b) cant find anything to fit!!!! or looks half dencent (all the shops are getting the summer stuff in and getting rid of smart stuff i've noticed)

c) can't afford a suit

Help me please. I'm rubbish at this sort of thing.

Thank you to you all in advnace.

Reply:You need a suit, or at least either a skirt or trousers and blouse - it's a smart place and they will expect you to look like you will fit in. What is the position you're going for? If it's for a cleaner, they obviously won't expect you in a suit, if it's for an office or front of house position you need to look the part - you need to sell yourself. You can pick up cheap work clothes - I believe Asda were doing a black pair of trousers and white blouse for £15.00. Hunt around, if necessary ask your parents to lend you some money. A suit will be an investment for future interviews too, if necessary. Good luck shopping and with the interview.
Reply:Since its a Bank, you should wear a suit because thats the outfit of most bankers and its executive. If you wear jeans,it will make you look like you are not a serious person. If you dont have money to buy a suit, you can borrow from friends or relatives. You can wear a trousers, shirt and tie bit without a jacket if you cant find one ,as long as it looks neat.
Reply:First of all WISH YOU ALL THE BEST. Look at your wardrobe and see what is the best available in your wardrode and wear it. No point of purchasing new clothes for interviews and all. It is not sure that you are going to get that job, right.
Reply:To work in a big bank like HSBC is very important to look the business, you need to wear a suit and tie, go for a white shirt will look more business like, goodluck I hope you get the job.
Reply:small budget, try asda you can get a suit that looks smart and is really upto date especially for people on a budget. I have bought a couple of suits from there for my two sons.
Reply:A skirt or plain black trousers and a shirt. Nice bag, minimal jewellery, nice plain shoes. Hair tidy, you should be ok. Try Primark and Peacocks and alike you can get some nice stuff for a small budget. x
Reply:Wear a pant suit with a blue shirt.

Go to BHS you will get a decent suit with shirt for 50 pounds.Dont buy from primark . These people will go for look and personality so dress well it will make you feel good.
Reply:Wear a beanie cap, a pair of pink skin tight shorts, pair of flippers and a snorkel. You won't get the job but at least you'll get noticed and hey a better job might come up in the meantime.
Reply:Business suit. Borrow or beg for one. Blazer with long slacks

Will do nicely. What do the ladies wear who work there anyway ?
Reply:U must purchase black trousers , white or light pink shirt.

shoes must be casual.

I'm sure amount will be not very high bco'z i have been purchase it 4 my little sister 4 her interview.
Reply:black trousers and a white shirt.

new look still have black trousers and shirts in, theyre not too expensive.
Reply:Open crotch panties. Show some minge.
Reply:A grey pinstripe suit should be okay
Reply:hijab...
Reply:whit shirt/blouse and dark shoes skirt and blouse...
Reply:If your drop dead gorgeous nothing at all!!
Reply:Get a suit from Primark! You'll get one for £20!
Reply:you should try get an outfit that resembles the work uniform of staff as HSBC, it helps the interviewer picture you as a member of staff.

As its summer you will get away with no wearing a suit jacket. A nice crisp white shirt and black trousers or skirt would look smart, it is a bank so you do need to look formal. M%26amp;S or H%26amp;M do a work range thats very reasonable.

When I was traveling OZ, I got a 3 month role in a bank, I had to attend 3 interviews with no suit, a fresh shirt and skirt with nice shoes did the trick.
Reply:dressing gown, pjs, two huge wooden crucifixes, and a woolly hat with a pom-pom.
