Does anyone know what the base pay is for servers?... i have a interview with TGI Fridays.?

i have a interview with TGI Fridays and i was wondering what is the pay isnt it less than min. wage b/c of the tips?

I worked at Fridays for 6 years through college. The servers make minimum wage plus tips. Normal training is a week in class and then a week in "follows" so it takes about 2 weeks to start working your own tables. It was a really fun place to work, I would recommend it.

Reply:Probably 'minimum wage' if your position is able to collect TIPS. And, in a lot of restaurants, all the waiters pool their TIPS, and give a portion to their bussers. Prepare your questions in ADVANCE and when the time is appropriate, present them. I frankly don't know if interstate restaurants are exempt from min. or not. Maybe someone else can answer.
Reply:Expect it to be about 1/2 of Min wage in your state. This is not really something they will be willing to negotiate.
